November 11 is not only the Independence Day in Poland. On this day they accrue name-patron of the city of Poznan - St. Martin. Name-street St. Martin every year is celebrated very lavishly. Central Tract Poznan colorful procession marches are street performances, the place comes tens of thousands of Poznań and tourists, and a mandatory delicacy are St. Martin's croissant - a unique Poznan rarity. It will be no different this time, though the party will enrich some interesting modifications. Name-organized by the Cultural Center Castle extend to the entire street, which will be for the whole day closed to traffic and becomes a pedestrian area. At the skyscrapers appear Alpha stand with rogalami marcińskimi and local backyards space will be arranged by the Association of Art Inner theatrical scenography. The celebration on November 11, joined a number of local cultural centers, thanks to the competitions organized by them in festive decor St. Martin Street involved people of Poznan. The hallmark of this year's event will be a commemorative ducats minted by the State Mint of St. Martin's croissant. Income from the sale will be credited to funds Poznan cultural institutions.
